Buyer-local scheduling · ET / CT / MT / PTResearch + approved email/LinkedIn + manual qualificationYour team owns discovery and closing
Separate head office, operating site and buying authority across the states you can serve. LeadScorer is headquartered in Mumbai and delivers internationally. No local office, country-specific meeting guarantee or unconfirmed client result is implied.
THE SERVICE, IN PLAIN ENGLISH
What does this work actually include?
Lead generation for US manufacturers connects approved production capabilities with relevant OEMs and industrial buyers. LeadScorer researches the application, plant and buying route, then qualifies a capability or sourcing discussion. A supplier introduction is not an RFQ, approved vendor status or purchase order.

ACCOUNT FIT / BEFORE CONTACT
An application you can serve. A facility that can use it.
01 / RESEARCH
Make the capability boundary concrete
State which processes, materials, components or finished goods are available now. Have your technical owner approve certifications and capacity language. A NAICS category or an industrial-company list can help research, but cannot demonstrate that a buyer uses your component or meets your minimum order requirements.
02 / RESEARCH
Separate plant, group and buying entity
A headquarters, production plant and distribution facility can belong to one company while serving different functions. Identify the relevant operating site and the group account above it. Avoid counting each plant as an independent new customer when supplier approval or procurement is centralized.
03 / RESEARCH
Connect engineering with the sourcing route
Engineering may assess the application, quality may own approval requirements and procurement may coordinate terms. Establish who should attend the first discussion. Do not promise available drawings, a current tender or annual volume based on a generic supplier-development title.
Keep these out of the cohort.
Exclude unsupported materials, tolerances, certifications, applications and territories, active bids, existing customers and protected distributors. Direct OEM acquisition, distributor recruitment and government procurement require separate commercial briefs and reporting.
WORKED EXAMPLE / NOT A CLIENT RESULT
How research becomes a useful conversation.
Fictional US planning scenario. No named prospect, delivered result or current buying intent is implied.
The offer: An approved component-manufacturing capability for serviceable US OEM facilities.
OBSERVED
The prospect publishes a product application and plant location. Drawings, annual volumes and sourcing activity are not public.
HYPOTHESIS / NOT CONFIRMED
The application may match the supplier’s process, material and certification boundaries. OEM status alone is insufficient.
APPROPRIATE FIRST ROLE
Engineering or supplier development for technical fit; procurement for the appropriate sourcing step.
USEFUL NEXT CONVERSATION
An initial capability discussion to determine whether technical review is warranted.
AFTER AN INTERESTED REPLY
Interest is a starting point. Qualification decides the next step.
Buyer-confirmed
In this fictional reply, an engineering contact confirms involvement in the relevant application and interest in a capability discussion.
Still unknown
Specifications, qualification requirements, available capacity, approved-vendor route and any open RFQ.
Decision
Progress a capability meeting after mandatory fit checks. Obtain detailed specifications through the agreed confidential process; do not report supplier approval or an RFQ.
Qualify the application, operating facility and technical or sourcing owner before a supplier discussion. These guides offer research context, not evidence of active demand or local client results.
Keep technical interest separate from supplier approval.
Use these questions to review an appointment-setting proposal for your sector before approving the audience or committing budget.
Which process, material, application and serviceable facility define fit?
Is the account an OEM, contract manufacturer, distributor or operating customer?
Which capability claims, certifications and supply constraints have been approved?
Is the next stage capability review, technical assessment, RFQ or supplier onboarding?
APPOINTMENT SETTING / MANUAL QUALIFICATION
A meeting with a job to do.
Approve these criteria before outreach. A mandatory unknown is a gap to resolve, not a green tick. Booking, attendance, acceptance and opportunities stay separate.
The researched application and territory match the approved production offer.
The attendee is relevant to engineering or the supplier-evaluation process.
The buyer understands the capability being offered and the meeting purpose.
Volumes, drawings, timing and vendor approvals are marked confirmed or unknown—not inferred as an RFQ.
RESPONSIBILITY / AFTER THE HANDOFF
Your expertise stays in the sales process.
Your technical and commercial teams retain specifications, quotations, capacity commitments, quality review, vendor onboarding and fulfillment. Supply approved claims and protected-account rules. Prospect research cannot replace engineering validation or qualify a government procurement bid.
LeadScorer’s proposed scope connects research, approved messaging, replies, qualification and meeting coordination. Phone-based SDR coverage, paid media and opportunity closing are not implied. Your engagement terms define actual responsibilities, reporting, data access and commercial commitments.
Start with the capability a US industrial buyer can actually use.
Bring your offer and current sales challenge. We’ll discuss the audience, the meeting your team needs and whether the delivery scope fits.
01Your offer
Approved processes, materials, certifications and serviceable applications.
02Your buyer
The relevant plant, buying entity and engineering or procurement route.
03Your first conversation
The capability-discussion purpose and what your technical team must validate next.
A planning conversation for manufacturing sales; engagement terms and launch readiness are agreed separately.
BUYER QUESTIONS
Scope before assumptions.
Can you help manufacturers find US OEM customers?
Research can focus on OEM applications and serviceable US operating sites. Approve capabilities, account boundaries and buying roles before outreach; OEM status is a research filter, not proof of purchasing intent.
Does an industrial appointment include a request for quotation?
Not automatically. A capability discussion, technical evaluation, RFQ and approved supplier are different stages. Define the meeting purpose and required evidence in advance.
Can you recruit distributors instead of OEM customers?
Yes as a separate agreed campaign scope. Distributor territory, partner requirements and commercial proposition differ from an end-customer sourcing discussion and need separate reporting.
Is OnePercent a US manufacturing case study?
No US buyer geography is established in that record. It reports an apparel-manufacturing appointment update within a consulting context, not verified US industrial managed-campaign performance.
US audience review comes before launch.
Have the responsible owners approve the sender, contact-data handling, audience, channel rules, privacy requirements and suppression process. A US business contact is not a universal permission slip for every channel. Phone and SMS require a separate review and are not included in this service brief. Use the sourced US campaign playbook for the review prompts; this page is not legal advice or a compliance certificate.
