7. Legal Bases Where GDPR or UK GDPR Applies
Where European or UK data-protection law applies, our processing may rely on one or more of the following legal bases.
| Purpose | Typical Legal Basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to an enquiry | Legitimate interests and/or steps requested before entering into a contract |
| Providing contracted services | Performance of a contract |
| Client administration and billing | Contract and legal obligations |
| B2B business development | Legitimate interests where appropriate and permitted by applicable direct-marketing rules |
| Sending consent-based newsletters | Consent |
| Operating and securing the Site | Legitimate interests |
| Analytics | Consent where required; otherwise legitimate interests where legally available |
| Maintaining suppression records | Legitimate interests and compliance |
| Legal and accounting records | Legal obligation and legitimate interests |
| Client campaign processing | Client instructions, contractual necessity and other lawful bases applicable to the relevant parties |
Use of legitimate interests does not mean that LeadScorer may contact any person in any manner regardless of local law.
Direct-marketing and electronic-communications requirements differ between countries, and additional requirements may apply.
8. Our Legitimate Interests
Where applicable, our legitimate interests may include:
- operating a B2B business
- identifying organisations that may have a relevant commercial need
- communicating with appropriate business decision-makers
- providing and improving our services
- protecting our business and systems
- maintaining accurate records
- preventing fraud
- understanding Site performance
- managing commercial relationships
Where required, we consider whether those interests are overridden by an individual’s rights and interests.
9. B2B Outbound Communications
LeadScorer specialises in B2B outbound.
Accordingly, an individual may receive a business communication from LeadScorer even if they did not previously complete a form on our Site where:
- their professional details were obtained from a legitimate business source
- there is a reasonable commercial basis for the communication
- the communication is permitted under applicable law
Our outreach is intended to relate to an individual’s professional capacity.
We may use professional information such as:
- name
- company
- role
- business email
- professional profile
- company characteristics
- relevant business signals
to determine whether a communication is likely to be relevant.
Your Right to Object to Direct Marketing
You may ask us to stop using your personal information for direct marketing at any time.
You can:
- use an unsubscribe link where provided;
- reply to the communication and ask us to stop; or
- contact us at support@leadscorer.co.
We will take reasonable steps to honour the request.
We may retain limited information on a suppression list so that we can remember the opt-out and avoid contacting you again.
10. Automated Processing and AI
LeadScorer may use software, automation and artificial intelligence to assist with activities such as:
- data enrichment
- categorisation
- contact prioritisation
- signal detection
- research
- personalisation
- message preparation
- campaign management
- internal analysis
Unless expressly disclosed otherwise, LeadScorer does not intend to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
Human review or business rules may be used where appropriate.
11. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site may use cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies.
These technologies may fall into categories such as:
Strictly Necessary
Required for the Site to operate, maintain security or remember privacy choices.
Analytics and Performance
Used to understand Site traffic, performance and visitor behaviour.
Functional
Used to provide additional Site functionality or remember preferences.
Marketing and Advertising
Where used, these may help measure campaigns, understand conversions or provide advertising.
Where applicable law requires consent, non-essential cookies should not be activated until you have made the relevant choice.
You should be able to change your preference through our cookie controls where available.
Third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.
Calendly Booking
The inline calendar on our contact page connects to Calendly without requiring you to accept our Site’s optional cookies. Calendly receives the technical information needed to load its booking service and manages its own cookie choices through its banner and Cookie settings inside the calendar. You can decline optional Calendly cookies there. Your CookieYes choices continue to control our Site’s optional analytics; loading the calendar does not enable Clarity, Leadfeeder or booking-source analytics. See Calendly’s Privacy Notice.
Website Booking-Source Attribution
If you accept analytics cookies, we retain limited campaign labels or the referring website’s domain in this browser tab’s session storage for up to 24 hours. We also retain a short sequence of codes for public LeadScorer pages viewed after consent and the placement of a labelled booking link you select. The sequence keeps the first observed page and up to seven recent pages, with an indicator if intermediate pages were omitted. These details can be passed to Calendly through our booking links, alongside the relevant LeadScorer page and discussion topic, to help us understand where enquiries originate. This feature does not assign a visitor identifier, record your screen, read booking answers or retain full referral URLs, URL query strings or search queries. It cannot reconstruct activity before consent, in another browser or on another device. Please do not put personal information in campaign labels. Unknown sources stay unattributed. Withdrawing analytics consent clears the stored details and removes them from our booking links; it does not delete information already received by Calendly. Booking remains available without analytics consent.
Microsoft Clarity Behaviour Analytics
With your analytics consent in CookieYes, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand public-page navigation, clicks, scrolling, engagement and usability issues through heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity may process device and browser information, IP address, page URLs, referral information, interactions and its own cookie identifiers. We use strict text masking and mask the page body. Our integration excludes the contact and booking page, and does not send booking answers, names or email addresses as Clarity custom identifiers. We do not match recordings to named enquiries.
Clarity does not load before analytics consent, when this browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, or on excluded pages. Advertising storage is denied. You can withdraw analytics consent in the existing cookie preferences to stop further recording in this page; previously collected data is not automatically deleted. For details of Microsoft’s processing, see Microsoft’s Privacy Statement. Contact support@leadscorer.co for a data request.
We also review aggregate Cloudflare traffic and performance data and Google Search Console reports. These do not let us reconstruct an individual visitor’s browsing journey or identify the person behind an anonymous search click. We do not add fingerprinting or substitute hidden identifiers when analytics consent is refused.
Leadfeeder Company-Visitor Analytics
We use Leadfeeder to understand which companies may be visiting our Site and which services interest them. When you accept analytics cookies, its tracker may process your IP address, referral source, pages viewed, visit timestamps and duration, and cookie or browser-storage identifiers. Leadfeeder may match network information to a company and provide company-level visitor insights.
The tracker does not load on our Site unless you accept the analytics category in our cookie controls. You can withdraw that choice using the cookie-preferences button; this stops further Leadfeeder tracking in that browser. Previously recorded visits are not automatically deleted by withdrawing consent. Contact support@leadscorer.co for a data request.
A company match is not confirmation of the individual who visited. This integration does not add a name or email capture form, and company contacts suggested by Leadfeeder should not be treated as identified visitors. For information about the provider’s processing, see Leadfeeder’s Privacy Policy.
12. Who We May Share Information With
We do not disclose personal information indiscriminately.
We may disclose information to categories of recipients reasonably required to operate our business, including:
- cloud-hosting providers
- website providers
- CRM platforms
- business-email providers
- scheduling platforms
- analytics providers
- AI and automation providers
- business-information providers
- email verification providers
- cold-outreach platforms
- LinkedIn-related service providers
- payment providers
- accountants
- legal advisers
- contractors
- service providers
- security providers
- government or regulatory authorities where legally required
Where LeadScorer processes information for a client, relevant information may also be disclosed to that client.
Service providers are expected to process data in accordance with applicable contractual and legal requirements.
For resource updates, Brevo processes subscriber email addresses, confirmation and subscription information, and associated technical data used to operate the signup and email service. For more information, see Brevo’s Privacy Policy.
13. Sale of Personal Information
LeadScorer’s business model is providing appointment setting and outbound services, not selling consumer personal information as a standalone data-broker product.
Where an activity is legally considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under a specific privacy law, we will provide rights or opt-out mechanisms to the extent required by that law.
14. International Data Transfers
LeadScorer is based in India and serves businesses internationally.
As a result, personal information may be processed in India or other countries where LeadScorer’s clients or technology providers operate.
Different countries may have different data-protection laws.
Where applicable law requires additional safeguards for international transfers, we will use appropriate transfer mechanisms or contractual safeguards where required.
For EEA or UK personal information, these may include appropriate contractual transfer mechanisms or other lawful transfer arrangements where applicable.
15. How Long We Keep Information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Retention may depend on:
- whether a commercial relationship remains active
- whether information remains relevant for business development
- contractual requirements
- legal or accounting requirements
- limitation periods
- security requirements
- the need to maintain suppression records
- whether a valid deletion request has been made
As an operational guideline:
- sales enquiries and prospect records may generally be retained while commercially relevant and reviewed periodically
- client records may be retained for the duration of the engagement and afterwards where needed for legal, contractual, tax or accounting purposes
- marketing subscription records may be retained until you unsubscribe or the list is retired
- suppression information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to ensure that an opt-out is respected
- website analytics data is retained according to applicable analytics settings and business requirements
- temporary operational data may be deleted when it is no longer needed
We may anonymise information instead of deleting it where it can no longer reasonably identify an individual.
16. Data Accuracy
Because B2B professional information can change frequently, information obtained from public or commercial sources may occasionally be outdated or incorrect.
If you believe information relating to you is inaccurate, please contact us and we will consider an appropriate correction.
17. Security
LeadScorer uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information from:
- unauthorised access
- accidental loss
- inappropriate disclosure
- misuse
- alteration
- destruction
Measures may include access restrictions, authentication controls, reputable cloud services, security monitoring and other safeguards appropriate to the circumstances.
No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
18. Data Breaches
If LeadScorer becomes aware of a personal-data breach, we will assess the incident and take reasonable containment and remediation steps.
Where applicable law requires notification to affected individuals, clients, regulators or authorities, we will make the required notifications within applicable legal timelines.
19. Your Privacy Rights
Your rights depend on where you are located and which privacy law applies.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to:
- obtain information regarding how your data is processed
- request access to personal information
- request correction of inaccurate information

- exercise other rights available under applicable law
Not every right applies in every situation.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
We may also retain information where required by law or where a lawful exception applies.
20. India Privacy Rights
To the extent the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules apply to the processing, Data Principals may have rights provided under that framework, including applicable rights relating to:
- access to information about processing
- correction
- completion
- updating
- erasure
- grievance redressal
- nomination
Rights will be handled in accordance with the provisions in force at the relevant time.
21. EEA and UK Rights
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, individuals may have rights including:
- access
- rectification
- erasure
- restriction
- portability
- objection
- withdrawal of consent
- complaint to an applicable supervisory authority
Direct Marketing
Where European or UK law applies, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for direct-marketing purposes.
If you exercise that right, we will stop using the applicable information for direct marketing, subject to maintaining a minimal suppression record where appropriate.
22. California Privacy
California residents may have rights under applicable California privacy laws.
Depending on which law applies to LeadScorer and the relevant processing, rights may include:
- knowing categories of information collected
- requesting access
- requesting deletion
- requesting correction
- opting out of certain selling or sharing
- limiting certain uses of sensitive personal information
- protection against unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights
LeadScorer does not use the sale of consumer information as its business model.
If LeadScorer becomes subject to a legal obligation to provide additional California privacy controls, those controls will be provided as required.
23. Do Not Track and Privacy Signals
Some browsers provide “Do Not Track” signals.
Because there is not a single universally adopted standard governing all such signals, the Site may not respond to legacy Do Not Track signals in a uniform manner.
Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally recognised opt-out preference signal, LeadScorer will address such requirements as applicable.
24. Children
LeadScorer provides B2B services and the Site is not intended for children.
We do not knowingly target children with our business-development activities.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us inappropriately, please contact us.
25. Third-Party Links
Our Site may contain links to external websites.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.
You should review the privacy policies of the services you use.
26. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:
- changes to our services
- changes to technology
- new processing activities
- changes in applicable law
The “Last Updated” date will show when the Policy was most recently revised.
Where required, material changes may be brought to affected individuals’ attention through additional means.

Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant records and understand your request.
