THE SHORT ANSWER

How do you compare Australian appointment-setting costs in AUD?

Define the billing event and compare the full same-period cost: setup, recurring work, tools and retained sales responsibilities. Keep currency, GST treatment and contractual exposure explicit. Divide by the appropriate held or accepted meeting count only when there are outcomes. The calculator uses editable assumptions, not a universal Australian price.

AUD COST WORKBENCH / NO PRICE GUESSWORK

Compare an Australian campaign on the same basis.

Enter your own quotes or completed-period costs in AUD, before applicable taxes. Use one period and one matching cohort. Entries stay in page memory and are not submitted or stored. A blank is unknown; 0 is a confirmed zero.

Include tools once. Keep contractual units billed separate from meetings accepted. Check GST applicability, cross-border tax treatment, exchange-rate basis and invoice terms separately; this tool does not calculate tax.

Complete the inputs and check the matching cohort.

Hypothetical inputs create a scenario, not a market price, a quote or a predicted result. Zero accepted outcomes never mean a $0 unit cost.

There is no useful universal price for Australian appointment setting without a defined audience, service scope, reporting period and billable outcome. A contact list, a booked calendar event and an accepted qualified held meeting purchase different work and allocate different risks.

This guide does not invent a market price range. Use actual provider quotes or completed-period records in the AUD calculator above. Its result is a comparison model, not a LeadScorer quote or expected campaign performance.

Define what triggers the fee

Ask the provider to name the contractual billing event. If the fee follows a booking, determine what happens when it cancels, fails to attend, duplicates an existing opportunity or does not meet the approved criteria. If the fee follows a held meeting, determine how attendance and acceptance are evidenced.

Specify the review window, the owner of acceptance, a dispute process and any remedy. Replacement, credit and refund are different promises. Monthly invoicing does not establish a month-to-month cancellation right.

Total programme cost = allocated setup + monthly service × months + separately billed tools/data + retained internal campaign cost + unit fee × billed units.

Cost per accepted qualified held meeting = total programme cost ÷ accepted qualified held meetings from the same cohort. When that count is zero, report the cost and zero outcomes; the unit cost is not available, not A$0.

A lower invoice can produce a higher unit cost

The following completed-period examples are fictional. They are not Australian market rates, provider offers or predicted results.

B has the higher invoice but the lower modeled accepted-meeting cost. That does not establish profit, customer acquisition cost or a better provider. Compare offer fit, opportunity progression, contribution margin and collection timing separately. Do not count pipeline as collected revenue.

Check currency, GST and contract exposure separately

Confirm the invoice currency and conversion basis when comparing AUD with another currency. An exchange-rate movement can change the comparison. The calculator does not fetch exchange rates or perform a currency conversion.

Agree whether each quote includes applicable taxes. Check GST applicability, cross-border supply treatment and invoicing with the responsible adviser; do not automatically add or remove tax because a provider serves Australia. The calculator models amounts before applicable taxes and is not tax advice.

Read minimum term, notice, pause rules, setup treatment, remaining obligations, access, data export and exit support. An apparently lower monthly price can still create a larger total commitment.

Match scope to the work you need

Research-only support is different from managed messaging, reply handling, qualification and scheduling. Cold email and LinkedIn are not a staffed phone-based SDR function. A meeting service does not automatically include technical demos, procurement diligence, proposals or closing.

Ask who owns each stage, how Australian working-hour overlap is arranged and what the client must supply. Local targeting does not prove a local office or local staffing. Review the Australian campaign playbook before treating price as the only constraint.

Use actual outcomes for the next buying decision

Track booked, held, accepted, opportunity and closed outcomes separately over matching cohorts. Allow enough time for attendance and commercial progression. Report unresolved mandatory qualification criteria rather than quietly changing the acceptance definition after launch.

Keep the calculator export with the underlying quote and assumptions. Use the provider due-diligence worksheet to resolve operational gaps, and the website meeting-demand calculator to test whether your traffic and sales capacity can support your ambition.

How to use this B2B outbound resource

  • Compare AUD on one basis

Use the same period, tax basis, scope and outcome definition.

  • Separate billing from quality

Contractual units billed are not automatically accepted qualified held meetings.

  • Inspect total costs

Include setup, excluded tools and retained internal campaign work once.

Apply this to your outbound decision.

Start with your actual offer, market, qualification requirements and the work your team can own. Examples and calculator estimates are not campaign guarantees.
